Description:	I know that the cart allows weight based shipping. However, short of going UPS, which in my area would be a pain, it does not take destination into consideration. When I was using Joomla/Virtuemart...we had a USPS shipping module which calculated weight and destination, and worked great. Is there any chance of getting something like that going? I can limp along without, but I think using the USPS shipping api as an option makes sense.

thewarden Jul 14, 2008 13:35:18	I too need this function. I do not use UPS at all, but USPS all the time. Will this ever be added??
Phoenix Jul 17, 2008 00:45:43	Looking at including USPS, but I first need to complete this current bug fixed version with Groups added. The UPS people were most unhelpful, so I'm not even attempting to do UPS.
thewarden Jul 22, 2008 18:16:40	Cool! So far as I know, USPS provides an entire section of their site that you could most likely use without having to contact them at all. That's just going by what I've seen when I had to sign up for a userid in order to use it with zencart. Looking forward to this option, and thanx for a great dfly cart! It's what I've been waiting for!
Phoenix Sep 11, 2008 00:54:00	Well, even getting USPS going on Zen Cart so I can see what I need to do is proving to be a small challenge. USPS does require registration and they quite helpfully provide you with a test server and then switch you to their production server after email request. Way more helpful than UPS!!! You can guess what I think the S in UPS stands for At this point I suspect the issue is having a real address to provide, so I'll try that tack and see how it goes.
