 #16 » USPS Shipping
 Date Open: Jan 21, 2008 at 03:54:19    Last Update: Sep 23, 2008 at 02:57:13 Bugger Off: Sep 23, 2008 at 02:57:13
Description: I know that the cart allows weight based shipping. However, short of going UPS, which in my area would be a pain, it does not take destination into consideration.

When I was using Joomla/Virtuemart...we had a USPS shipping module which calculated weight and destination, and worked great. Is there any chance of getting something like that going? I can limp along without, but I think using the USPS shipping api as an option makes sense.

I too need this function. I do not use UPS at all, but USPS all the time. Will this ever be added??

Looking at including USPS, but I first need to complete this current bug fixed version with Groups added.

The UPS people were most unhelpful, so I'm not even attempting to do UPS.

Cool! So far as I know, USPS provides an entire section of their site that you could most likely use without having to contact them at all. That's just going by what I've seen when I had to sign up for a userid in order to use it with zencart.

Looking forward to this option, and thanx for a great dfly cart! It's what I've been waiting for!

Well, even getting USPS going on Zen Cart so I can see what I need to do is proving to be a small challenge.

USPS does require registration and they quite helpfully provide you with a test server and then switch you to their production server after email request.

Way more helpful than UPS!!! You can guess what I think the S in UPS stands for Swear

At this point I suspect the issue is having a real address to provide, so I'll try that tack and see how it goes.
